I am known as Death. My role is obvious: I am the being that greets you at the end of your life. Before you proceed to Heaven or Hell, you’ll be visited by me. I’ll appear in your dreams or nightmares, carrying an hourglass of sand. Each grain representing the last of your remaining days.

All things have a beginning, a middle and an end. The end is nothing to fear. It’s simply inevitable, because all living things eventually die. Death itself is just the closing of one chapter and the start of another.

Physically, your body passes away, but your soul’s energy rejoins the rest which make up the universe. Maybe you’ll descend to Earth’s molten core, or maybe you’ll fly into the sun. Maybe you’ll float across the ocean, or maybe you’ll soar deep into space. Your energy can be manifested anywhere, because physically you’ll be free.

It’s also possible that upon death, you transcend from this dimension and enter another. I do not know what lies outside our universe, or why it was even created to begin with. Once you die, time ceases to have all meaning. Billions of years could pass and you wouldn’t age, while everything around you will. In other words, you would become “immortal”.

Then there’s the question of an afterlife or rebirth. Energy can change states, and so does one’s soul. Perhaps you’ll get reborn as another living creature, or as another human being. Or, maybe you’ll visit our creator, who also lives outside of our present space and time.

Yes, death is also a depressing time where people are separated from their loved ones. But this separation is only temporary. I’ve often felt the presence of others in my heart, mind and spirit after they’ve passed. I believe that we enhance the energy of others when we die. This is especially true for thoughts and memories of those that died.

So, if there’s one thing you should know about death, know that just like life, it’s a journey through the unknown. I hope that after reading all these stories, it enriches your life, increases your positive energy, and inspires you to do great things. Unfortunately, our time together has now come to an end, but I strongly believe that for you, this is only the beginning.
